Event Cancellation (all benefits are stated in Pounds Sterling)

In addition to your standard cover, you have the option of an Event Cancellation extension to include the following. 

Event Cancellation. If Your trip has been arranged specifically to attend a sporting or entertainment event that You have purchased tickets for prior to Your trip departure and such event is cancelled We will indemnify You for:

A) Cancellation prior to departure - unused ticket charges associated with Your trip that are not refundable and which were incurred before Your departure date.

B) Cancellation after arrival at destination. In the event that the event is cancelled after You have completed the Outward Journey and arrived at the destination where the event was due to take place, We will indemnify You for ticket charges that are not refundable and pay a compensation benefit of £50 per person insured. 

What is not covered:

1. Any expense following Your disinclination to travel or to continue with Your trip or loss of enjoyment on Your trip

2. Any expense arising from circumstances which could reasonably have been anticipated at the time You booked Your trip.
