Cheap Travel Insurance for EU Residents General Information about Travel Insurance Policy Extensions

Policy Extensions

The current section of the website includes descriptions of different types of extensions available with Globelink.co.uk policies.

You are given an option to extend your policy to provide an extra cover for hazardous sports/activities, baggage, golfer's cover, excess waiver, event cancellation, wedding cover or repatriation to Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.

Adventure Activities Insurance

Our standard travel insurance policies provide cover for many activities. Please click here for more info: Hazardous Pursuits Category 1 and 2, Category 3, Category 4. However, there are some activities that cannot be covered under a Globelink policy, or maybe you just require extended cover for a few days.

We have therefore made arrangements with a specialist travel insurer to provide Globelink adventures cover for the following activities.

Amateur Sports, BMX Cycling, Bobsleigh, Boxing, Caving, Canyoning, Diving over 30 metres, Farm Work, Flying in unlicensed aircraft, Freestyle Skiing, Glacier Walking, Gliding, Go Karting. Hang Gliding , Heli-Skiing, Horse Jumping, Hot Air Ballooning, Ice Hockey, Kite Surfing, Micro Lighting, Martial Arts, Motor Cross, Motor Cycling, Motor Track, Manual work, Motor Rallies, Mountaineering (Europe or Kilimanjaro) Parachuting, Paragliding, Parascending, Polo, Potholing, Rock Climbing, Quad Biking, Sand Boarding, Ski Racing (major events), Ski Touring, Skydiving, Wake Boarding, Wrestling.

You can select from PART A only, if you already have a travel insurance policy in force, or if you select 2 or more days, you can add Part B to bring cover into line with a standard travel insurance policy.

This policy is only available to people aged up to 64 who are resident and regestered with a medical practitioner in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
