The room letting website Airbnb has many listings of castles available for tourists to rent. In fact, more than a million properties from over 190 countries are listed on the website. The Gatehouse to Ayton Castle in Berwickshire is available to rent for holidays. At £85 a night, guests can enjoy access to castle grounds and the river walk. The Ayton Castle is built from pink sandstone in the archetypal Scots baronial style. Rooms comfortably accommodates two guests.
