It depends on which Single Trip travel insurance option you choose (Economy, Regular, Comprehensive). Maximum trip duration is 15 months depending on age, over 50 pre-existing medical conditions; cancellation or curtailment; emergency medical expenses and missed departure are covered on all single trip policies.
Single Trip travel insurance should cover your entire trip, starting from the day you leave your country of residence and including the day you arrive back in that same country. You can buy up to 12 months ahead of the date you travel.
This depend on a number of factors including the cover type you select; where you are travelling; how long for; and your age. For instance, travel to Europe up age 65yrs - Economy cover costs from £ (up to 5 days), Regular cover from £ (up to 5 days), Comprehensive from £ (up to 8 days).
Single Trip travel insurance covers you for that particular trip based on the cover level you have chosen. If you need emergency medical assistance while on your trip, there is a 24/365 Emergency Assistance Service to help.
