Globelink created Family Travel Insurance to give you that extra piece of mind that is so important when travelling with your family. Family Travel Insurance implies that a family travelling together is covered under the same policy. This way you can be sure everyone in your party is covered for a number of eventualities for the duration of your trip and you won't have to insure every family member separately. We took care of your older relatives too – we provide Travel Insurance for people aged up to 89 years.
Attention! The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) could provide you with some emergency healthcare for EU countries, but it will not pay for Helicopter or stretcher rescue, repatriation costs, lost or stolen property, and it does not cover long-term medical treatment.!
The duration of trips Globelink covers varies with each policy. Annual Multi Trip for instance includes options of Single Trip durations up to 120 days and Backpackers policy covers up to 15 months of continuous travel.
Travel with family, enjoy life and stay safe with Globelink Family travel insurance!
Most hazardous activities are covered as standard and higher risk activities can often be included for an extra charge. Among those activities covered as standard are trekking up to 3500 meters, Cycling and White Water Rafting.
You can add these extra options to the most policies we sell: cover for valuables, hazardous sports/activities, excess waiver, event cancellation, winter sports, and cancellation top up.
Family travel insurance covers immediate family members who live at the same address under one policy. Up to two adults and any number of their children aged under 18. You have the peace of mind that each family member is covered for holiday mishaps. In the event of a medical emergency you can contact the 24 hour Emergency Assistance Service +44 (0)1273 624 661.
It depends on where you are going, for how long, the type of policy you pick, and number of people on the policy. For instance, the cheapest policy (Single Trip Economy) costs £ (based on 1 adult up age 50yrs for up to 5 days of cover).
Please read your Policy Wording carefully to ensure that it meets with your precise requirements. View and download the relevant Policy Wording* from the links below depending on whether you live in the UK or elsewhere in the EU.
